A Navy warship has been tasked with shooting down a failing United States spy satellite, although the odds were in favor of the it crashing in the ocean after losing much of the sensitive equipment during a fiery reentry. Perhaps the chance to use the ballistic defenses against a real-life target was likely considered too good to pass up.

A Venn diagram is a mathematical illustration that shows all of the possible mathematical or logical relationships between sets. A Euler diagram resembles a Venn diagram, but does not necessarily show all possible intersections of the sets.

In order for any of LA County's voters who have registered Nonpartisan to vote for the Democratic candidate, they'd have to mark an extra bubble on the ballot naming the party for which they wished to cast a cross-over ballot. If the “declaration” bubble is not inked on a Nonpartisan ballot, the voter's presidential preference would be voided,
